Dutch Peptide Symposium 2017

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to Eindhoven for the 25th edition of the Dutch Peptide Symposium – a quarter century of celebrating peptide research in the Netherlands!

The venue on 8th June 2017 will be the Blue Room “Blauwezaal” located in the Auditorium building of the TU Eindhoven campus, which among other events is the venue for the University’s PhD and Master graduation ceremonies. The campus lies less than 5 minutes-walk to the north of the train and bus station close to the hustle and bustle of Eindhoven city centre with its plethora of hotels and restaurants.

This meeting intends to cover the various aspects of peptide-, protein chemistry as well as drug discovery and development, pharmacology, and structure-activity relationships. It will also be a great opportunity for PhD students and young scientists to learn about the many aspects of peptide research, and to discuss about peptide chemistry and biology with experienced researchers.

We are currently working on creating an attractive program, with plenary lectures by invited speakers covering different peptide research and development areas and a series of opportunities for well selected presentations by the Scientific Committee to respond to participant expectations from such a conference. There will be ample possibilities for poster presentations and we highly encourage you to share your scientific work and results with international attendees.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors for their generous support. Thanks to them we are able to keep the symposium free for all attendees. Yet we kindly ask you to register for the symposium to help use accurately plan the catering on the day of the symposium.

We, the organizing committee are convinced that this meeting will stimulate fruitful discussions and will be an excellent opportunity for networking. This event is also bridging the academia and the industrial worlds and will certainly increase the visibility of our sponsors. Your participation will be crucial for making this initiative a success.
