Dutch Peptide Symposium 2016
As part of a tradition built by more than 20 successful Dutch Peptide Symposia, with gradually increasing numbers of participants from both academia and industry, Pepscan has the honor to host the 24th edition of the annual Dutch Peptide Symposium in 2016.
We look forward to receive on 3 June, 2016 approximately 200 scientists in the novel Agora Congress Center in Lelystad, an ultramodern meeting venue, featuring a modern auditorium and plenty of space for posters and exhibitor stands in the foyer. It is located in the city centre and can be easily accessed by train (station Lelystad Centrum is on 5 minutes walking distance). There are also several hotels and restaurants within a short distance from the conference building.
This meeting intends to cover the various aspects of peptide-, protein chemistry as well as drug discovery and development, pharmacology, and structure-activity relationships. It will also be a great opportunity for PhD students and young scientists to learn about the many aspects of peptide research, and to discuss about peptide chemistry and biology with experienced researchers.
We will have 6 plenary lectures with invited speakers covering different peptide research and development areas and a series of opportunities for well selected presentations by the Scientific Committee to respond to participant expectations from such a conference. There will be ample possibilities for poster presentations and we highly encourage you to share your scientific work and results with international attendees.
Thanks to generous support of our sponsors, we are able to keep the meeting free for all attendees. Yet we kindly ask you to register so that we can accurately plan the catering for the meeting.
The organization committee is convinced that this meeting will stimulate fruitful discussions and will be an excellent opportunity for networking. This event is also bridging the academia and the industrial worlds and will certainly increase the visibility of our sponsors. Your participation will be crucial for making this initiative a success.
